	Beoordeling: Geur: mispel, oude citrus. Smaak: heeft hout gehad, rokerig, kruidig. Weinig vettig, matig bitter. Lijkt ondanks 2015 aardig op leeftijd. Aantrekkelijke wijn.

Bijzonderheden: History: In 1996, Bernard Dauré persuaded his friends, Jean Pierre Cayard and Claude Florensa to embark on a crazy idea, to join him in creating a wine estate at Apalta in Chile. The girls from the three families soon fell in love with the land, in the Colchagua Valley, which is only a two hour drive south of Santiago, the country’s capital. The girls, “Las Niñas” took the work, which lasted around three years, in hand … planting 160 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Camenere, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache Noir, Merlot and Chardonnay, while Mathias Klotz designed and built the cellar.

	Beoordeling: Geur: aromatisch, jam, zoete kersen, vanille. Smaak wijkt af: vooral laurier, scherp, kalksteen en de kersen zijn weg. Heel droge tannineuze wijn voor bij het diner.

	Beoordeling: Geur: rood fruit / kersen; in de smaak kersen en bruine suiker. Fluwelen tannines en mooi verpakte zuren.Mooie evenwichtige wijn!

Bijzonderheden: De wijngaarden liggen hoger in het kustgebied, waardoor de temperatuur-verschillen dag/nacht groot zijn en het rijpingsproces langzaam verloopt. “In addition, red clay soils, intense sunlight and no springtime rains create a brilliantly colored grape of intense aromatic expression and impressive concentration”.

	Beoordeling: Opvallend donkerrood, visceus. Geur: kersen, zwarte bes, kaneel chocola, kruidnagel, hout. Smaak: kruidig, stroef, laurier, chocola. Scherpe tannines

Bijzonderheden: Winemaking: “the grapes were hand picked early in the morning, then taken to the cellar, whre they were cold-soaked and fermented at 24oC-28oC in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels”.

	Beoordeling: Neus: stal, inkt, hout, kruiden langs de weg stoffig. Smaak: laurier, groene paprika, stroefje, mooie tannines. Mooie complete wijn.

Bijzonderheden: “Over 100 years ago, the 1st generation of the Silva family pioneered Colchagua Valley, the region today producing Chile’s finest premium wines. Today, the 4th an 5th generations fully own and run the winery and its land, making it the most family run Estate in the country.”

	Beoordeling: Donkerrood, nauwelijks doorzichtig van kleur. Rood fruit, kruiden, houtlagering.

Bijzonderheden: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon – “a blend of diverse blocks within Maipo Valley which represent the different characteristics that are present in it. This wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months”.

	Beoordeling: Helder, donkerrode wijn, visceus. Geur: kersen, tabak, leer, pruimen, laurier, rokerig. In de smaak is weinig van het palet terug te vinden. Branderig en hout. Korte afdronk.

	Beoordeling: Ondoorzichtige, donkerrode wijn. Visceus. Geur: kruiden, tomaten, ceder-hout. Smaak: fruitig, peper en paddenstoelen. Erg lekkere “eetwijn”.

Bijzonderheden: Oplegwijn. Gall & Gall schrijft: “Valdivieso is als eerste wijnhuis in Zuid-Amerika in 1879 begonnen met de productie van mousserende wijnen. Pas honderd jaar later startte de familie met het maken van stille wijnen. Hun filosofie is om de best mogelijke druiven te gebruiken en de typiciteit en de smaak van de druiven zoveel mogelijk in tact te houden. Zo mag de smaak van houtlagering nooit te dominant zijn. Met het ideale wijnklimaat in Chili en de grote zorg voor de druiven, brengt het domein inmiddels geweldige wijnen voort, die internationaal vele prijzen in de wacht slepen. Maar het belangrijkste is misschien wel dat een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding kenmerkend is voor al hun wijnen.”
